Have anyone watched the new tv commercial on the 2005 X ?

I have seen it few times since last week during the morning tv news time.

It uses the Hollywood style and technique depicting the horror trees trying to grap the X while it is escaping out from the jungle.

I don't see creativity on this new commercial. :4:

I thought it just plain weird (and not successful).

Yeah I didn't like it as well as the other one. Not likely the X could make it through tropical rain forest. :)

Ditto. I think it needed to be a little more "real world," since it is such a great ride.

Yeah, I was all psyched to see an MDX spot but was disappointed with it. It's not a Jeep. Why try to sell it as one?

More like an ad for a con on the lamb. Someone hiding.

Fear Factor! Interesting. Next it will be traversing swamps full of worms and beetles.

Bring back the open spaces, mountains, rivers and lakes. This is what really impresses most people. Lots of green with blue skies.
I notice with lots of the other Acura ads it rains a lot too. Just to show how nice the traction is. That's great, but most people rather be warm and cozy in their homes, not out driving.
I think they need a new ad agency.

Ditto! And I think because we both agree on this, they should give us each a new RL! :4:

Pennies on the dollar for what the ad costs them...:)
