What is the least expensive reasonable quality aftermarket NAV module that would fit? Also the quality of maps? Would it be comparable with OEM NAV?
Thanks for any help. |

I highly recommend the Garmin 276C, you can buy it complete with Automobile kit for under $800 at the following: http://www.getfeetwet.com/ProductIn...id=010-00331-00
Go to the bottom of the page and select Automobile kit for $229.
I would not try to install an aftermarket unit, and this Garmin unit has Auto-routing with voice--a nice sized color display, and has at least all the Points of interest that the OEM unit has. This unit sits on a Bean-bag mount on the dash.
I have one, and the nice thing is that you can switch it to different vehiciles, I use mine in my Porsche Boxster, and on my Valkyrie MC.
Great unit, and easy to use. |

Thanks!
The screen size is not as big as the OEM unit, is it? Would it be comfortable using something smaller than the OEM? |

| You're right, the screen is not as big as the OEM, but I find it quite easy to read, and also to see directions. When you come to the next turn, the turn pattern expands to fill 1/2 the screen. Go to the Garmin site and you can get a good idea how it will look. Go to this link: http://www.garmin.com/products/gpsmap276c/# and then click on Product images. The displays that are shown are full size. |
