Hi All,
Since I could not find information like this on the web, I would like run a little survey with you guys’ help and support. I am in web usability related field and wondering how much does your web browser covers your screen when browsing general websites.
I would very appreciate if you could donate your valuable time and pick one from the list that describes your browsing style the best.
Thank you and thank you

| I just got the Dell 20" Ultrasharp LCD. Man is it awesome. I love the 1600x1200 resolution. Anyways... my IE windows takes up approximately 2/3 of my screen. |

| My browser covers about 90% when I use 1024x768. The browser cover less than 80% when I use 1280x1024. I can tell you the world is mostly on 1024x768 followed by 800x600. Anyways, I just grabbed the latest data for our site (not acuramdx.org!) and the picture below is the data (no further info available - please don't read too much into it - treat it as random data you found somewhere. Also this doesn't say how many percent of the screen is covered.) |

Mine is 1152 x 864, maximized most of the time, with tabs using Mozilla Firefox so I don't usually have multiple windows open.
I never liked IE, except maybe 6.0 when it incorporated the google search bar. |

| I have a dual monitor setup and always maximize the browsers on both screens. |

I have widescreen monitors only and then its a different issue because maximizing the browser looks odds in a 16:9 layout. My laptop is set to 1440X900 and my desktop is set to 1600X1050.
Usually my window is stretched to 1012 X 801 which allows me to view most web pages without horizontal scrolling. |
