You guys are all right!
I carped about saving 20 cents per quart of oil. On the other hand, I'll be damned if I'm going to let some motorcycle mechanic work on one of my bikes for the on-going shop rate, when I can do it myself!
I may save several hundred dollars in the process, but I probably spend 2 to 4 times as much time as they do. But in my mind, at least, the job is done absolutely correctly.
I suppose, in the final analysis, one saves money where one can! |
