Has anyone done this? I put a hole in the plastic grill part of the rear bumper and need to replace that. It doesn't seem like something that is worthwhile taking to a body shop. Luckily there was no other damage. I think i can do it. I just don't know where to start in terms of taking apart the bumper.

Additional detail which might help;

The five bolts referenced in the thread above can only be seen from underneath the bumper, located between the rear fascia and the spare tire. I recommend you remove the spare to get to the bolt more easily (and it gives you a chance to check the spare for road debris damage and air pressure).

There are also two more bolts accessed by lifting the hatch, located at the corners of the hatch recess, covered by plastic snaps. Also, a couple of screws covered by the splash guards, if you have the guards.

Make sure you lay the bumper down on something soft - moving blanket or carboard covered with towels.
