I am going to attempt to install this unit in my 2002 Ranger tomorrow. http://www.xmradio.com/skyfi/
Does anyone happen to know of a good website to give me wiring information or does anyone have any tips on how to wire it. I am going to wire it directly to the back of the existing CD player and use the built in FM modulator that comes with the XM setup. Thanks allot!!!! |

Here is the info and then some. This is from Clarion's dealer site:

Accessory gray/yellow + ignition harness
Second Accessory black/lt. green + ignition harness
Power Lock pink/yellow - driver door harness or PKP
Power Unlock pink/lt. green - driver door harness or PKP
Note: The GEM in this vehicle shuts down after the doors have been locked for a certain time period
Lock Motor pink/black driver door harness
Unlock Motor red/orange driver door harness
Disarm Defeat pink/orange passenger kick panel
Parking Lights + brown headlight switch or GEM
Note: The GEM (Generic Electronic Module) is to the left of the radio.

Reverse Light
Door Trigger - GEM
Note: The GEM (Generic Electronic Module) is to the left of the radio.
Dome supervision use door trigger
Tachometer tan/yellow instrument cluster or PCM
Note: The PCM (Powertrain Control Module) is on the top of the firewall under the hood towards the passenger side. The tachometer wire is in pin 48. Can also get tach at the ignition coil or coil pack. Use any of the tan/stripe wires.
Speed Sense gray/black GEM
Note: The GEM (Generic Electronic Module) is to the left of the radio.
Brake Wire lt. green + brake pedal switch
Parking Brake
Horn Trigger yellow/lt. green - steering column
Wipers wht (L) + windshield wiper motor
LF Window up/down blu/org (H) A driver window motor
RF Window up/down wht/blk - red A driver door harness or PKP
LR Window up/down wht/yel - tan/lt blu
