This morning one of my cats (Spicy) brought home his catch of the morning: A WORTHLESS CALIFORNIA GOPHER !

What are these worthless rodent good for ? They are destructive to your yards, live underground 98% of the time, so what are they good for ?
BTW: Cats are the BEST solution to rid these a$$holes !

Actually I love it when they bring these rodents home. They have cost me the past couple of years till I learned what gophers were ! My cats have run them out of my yard (hill portion) and now I can grow plants etc......

I would love to watch the setup of the attack. I looked out my window last week to see a rabbit running from the side of the house. I counted 2 Mississippi before I saw my golden retriever come around the corner. Rabbits don't seem to do any damage to my yard or even the flower beds so I don't mind not getting one delivered to my front door.

My sister lives in Longmont Colorado. They have small brown rabbits that are VERY distructive to her veggie garden. They can wipe you out over night, but they are cute to look at but........

 Can I borrow Spicy to get rid of my moles? These little f$ckers even dig in the dead of the winter, they've dug up my entire front lawn!! :3:

This one was gray. Maybe it's like the difference between gray and red squirrels. Gray squirrels just kind of hang out and sample acorns but the red ones like to jump from the trees and get into your roof and cause damage.

I'm less worried about the rabbit now. This morning my dog smelled him on the other side of the fence and I noticed he's living at my neighbors house in a pile of covered patio stuff for the winter. That should keep him busy. I wonder if I should tell them. :)

When you see signs of moles/gophers, get a shovel, dig until you find a tunnel. Buy some mole/gopher tablets and use a spoon and put some in the tunnel. Then cover it back up. This should STOP them from further distruction, but they are still out there ! Cat are the BEST to patrol your property.

I have gotten a couple moles in my house lately.

I can't figure out how or why they are getting in here unless the dogs are bringing them into the mudroom through their pet door.

Anybody else ever find these things in the house?
