My 2002 Touring went through the oil jet kit recall and they did not tell me that the warranty was extended. During my current negotiations they have said that if I would accept a new transmission they would give a 7yr, 75,000 mile warranty. But as said before, new tranny is not guarantee of problem being solved as you read on this sight, some are on their 3rd transmission.
I did not buy an extended warranty as these cars should run for 200,000 miles without problems. |
