Just a note to let everyone know that I'll be off on vacation starting Thursday and will return on Monday......just a short one :)

If any of you are local to Detroit and want to stop out and say hi, I'll be at our AudioKarma national convention in Southfield, MI....details here:

Now also, if anyone lives in the area, what's a good place to bring say a hundred people for food, drinks, and/or entertainment? :)

I never thought I'd hear the words "vacation" and "Detroit" used in the same sentence.

My thoughts exactly.

Detroit just isn't the same since they quashed "Devils Night". It's like clear-cutting a forest but in this case the forest was buildings and homes.

I spent a few days there when my dad and I made a last trip to Tiger Stadium 7 years ago. I don't know that I'd go back as I don't care to see the disaster that is Comerica Park.

I hope you have a chance to see the Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield Village.

At someone had one nice thing to say.

If this board wasn't chock-full-o-prudes I would tell you what I really think but I'll leave it at this, people in glass houses shouldn't throw stones.

I live in the "what exit?" state but do I care when peple poke fun? No. You want to know why? Because I'm an adult and can appreciate the sarcasm and feeble-as-it-may-be attempts at humor.

I just noticed you live in Michigan. Sorry.

Mully,

Don't get all sensitive on us now. . .

Oh, I just thought of something cool about Detroit. Actually a couple things.

1) Its only 1 hour from Ann Arbor which has the best Football, Hockey and Basketball teams in the country! M Go Blue!

2) Detroit is the only place in the continental US where you can drive south and end up in Canada! Plus Windsor has a good BBQ place and titty bars that were fun to visit when I was in college (UofM).
