No, the door must be taken apart. It is not bad at all. Just take your time and follow those instructions and you will be just fine. It's that or pay an "authorized" installer another couple hundred is what I think I remember people saying. |

I recalled when we did our GB anyone could join regardless of vehicle but THEY NEED TO ORDER THE MIRROR THAT WOULD FIT THEIR VEHICLE. AS for installation, it is EASY!!!! Just tedious or alot of parts nothing really you can break. Follow the other threads on install. |

| Sorry everyone I am out. The Acura dealer (Arlington Acura in Palatine Illinois) damaged the rear bumper on my 05 and will not pay for the damage to be fixed . This means I have to dig into my pockets for the $500.00 deductable and make the claim with my own insurance. The dealer told me that because I did not notice the damage until the next day after I left they could not be held responsible. I should have never bought this truck from Arlington Acura in Palatine Illinois, they suck !!!! If by some chance the dealer decides to pay for the bumper to be fixed I will still follow through with the signal mirrors. :3: :3: |

My mirrors aren't heated. I'm assuming the 199 price is off the 269 heated kit. Would I be able to purchase the non-heated kit for 149 (219-70)? (And like Rx5, I'm also curious if we can get the GB discount AND free shipping...)
For those of you who made the switch, have you noticed any decrease in optical "performance" or any other drawbacks?

I spoke with and emailed Chris at Muth earlier today to see what he could do for us folks without heated mirrors. He said he'd return my email tomorrow but I won't be able to check it until Monday.
As soon as he gets back to me, I'll be posting the info on HondaPilot.org to gauge interest over there.
(If any Pilot owners are reading this, Muth offers two options: 1. a non-heated kit, and 2. a non-heated kit + an upgrade module to make them heated - for vehicles that didn't originally come with heated mirrors)
Please count me in for 1 non-heated kit.

| In all reality not really. Just follow the directions and the links here for helpful tips. Also get a wire pull coat the inside of the rubber boot of the door with wd-40 and it will be easy to pull. |
