Yes, this is the sub lots of people have in their MDX because it is a free air design which means it doesn't have to be in a sealed enclosure. Therefore its ideal for the stock location. I had this in my MDX, but my lease is up and I'm giving it back.
About the ring, I just made one from wood, but its split in a few places from the screws, but if you still want it, you can have it as a template to cut out another. |

How did it sound in your opinion? Did you power it with an amp?
Did it rattle? You use a low pass filter? 100 hz?
I would also like the trim ring. How much would you take shipped to 60089? |

| It sounded much better than stock, it had more punch in bass. I used an external amp. For an external amp, your going to need a line level converter. I'm also sellling mine, see my other FS thread. |

| I bought some polyfil at Walmart and stuffed it behind the sub. Absolutely no rattles. |
