I have a 2002 MDX.
First you can not replace the blade assembly. Either you replace just the blade or the whole housing.
I bought a simple Triple Edge 19 wiper replacement. It does not have instructions for replacement. Remaove the old blade. Pull the metal guides up a bit then slide the blade and medal guides out together. The end of the rubber blade can be pulled by arm holders once the metal guides are moved a bit.
On the end of the Triple Edge replacement there is a cap piece that holds the blade to the arm. Using a small screwdriver you can lift a small locking arm and pull the cap piece off. Take the whole medal guide and balde off the replacement arm. Slide the medal guide and blade into the MDX's rear arm holders and then install the cap piece. You do not have to fumble with the old medal guides and the new blade slides in rather easy. I would recomend saving the old medal guides just in case.

| How would you rate the Triple Edge vs. the standard blade? I've always found them superior for about the first month, until dirt gets caught in the extra grooves of the blade (especially in the rear). |
