Is Mobil M1-105 (super oversized) good for 04 MDX too?

Any place to order Acura OEM (Japan made possibly?) filter similarly oversized like Mobil M1-105?

ps: Seached and skim through older thread regarding oil filter. Too much information about too many different oil filters but no simple conclusion. Thus, I am asking again.... Sorry if I am asking too redundant topic.... |

The M1-110 is the correct size Mobile 1 filter. I use this filter and feel that it does a very good job. I have never seen a "super oversize." Do they make it longer to make it bigger or how?

I didn't mean to confuse you. I was just expressing my emotion that I had when I found M1-105 in the local auto part shop.
To me, confusing is that some people use 105 others are using 110 or other in this forum.
Some member even stated that the OEM A02 filter is NOT the best application for our X. I am just too confused.
Regarding the filter size (super size),
M1-110
M1-104
M1-105
those are all 10~11bucks in local auto part store. But the M1-105 is maybe 3 times larger than other. I personally never seen such huge one. Then, according to other members, they are still using 105 for their X's. Should I follow for my 04 X? |
