I just bought a 2005 touring with navi and the dealer tried everything he could to sell me a "repairmaster" brand extended warranty for $1695 for 6/100K
He didn't even mention the AcuraCare Warranty, which I can buy online at Hondacura World for $1210
Does anyone have any experience with either one?
Thanks |

For $400+ I would not mention the acuracare warranty either.
I think I would stay with the Acuracare..save money up front, and at least deal with a 'known' vs. an 'unknown'.
Not that Acura has a sterling repuation for service, but it beats a plan that might have lots of conditions. It certainly takes more of your money up front. |

I have AcuraCare which is already inforce - the car is 4.5 years old.
"Used" it a few weeks ago - dealer replaced driver seat rails - totally transparent to me - experience identical to b-to-b warranty, plus Acura roadside and all the other hoopla are extended (not that I ever used it)
Remember, you have upto 2 years/24K miles for a no-markup purchase.
Tim's prices, as always, appear to be superb. |
