Could you explain why?
I've read many posts here where people didn't like the OEM rack and replaced it with other racks, so somebody might want to sell the original one. I think it'd be good enough for me, since the windsurfing equipment (boards, sails and masts) that I need to carry is all relatively light. |

Be aware that the OEM racks have the cross bars very close together. They are not adjustable. This closeness makes long things such as you want to carry difficult to tie down. Long things tend to be unstable when not supported well away from their CG.

G.C. , thanks for the info. I don't want to drill holes, though, and I couldn't find any other real alternative. Crossbars on both Thule and Yakima clamp on racks have pretty much same distance as on the OEM rack.

i believe there are a few including myself. i ended up selling my OEM rack to someone on this board awhile ago. |

| I just removed mine from my 05 MDX. Let me know if you are interested. I'd sell it for $120 which includes UPS ground shipping. They are in excellent condition and will have all the parts (front/rear roof rack, 4 covers left/right and 8 torx nuts) and the installation would be even easier as I still have the roof molding that goes with the rack (6 pieces), so you don't have to cut your existing one. |
