Just wondering. Looking forward to seeing it this weekend, if I can get a seat.

Saw it yesterday, 7:30pm free preview.

Episode IV is still the best story but episode III has second place overall for me. Great movie, well worth the effort.

Lots of plot holes, many missing pieces, but very enjoyable.

Go see it, but don't take the kids until you have a chance to see it first if you take them at all. This will give you a chance to prepare them ahead of time for what they will see and what it means.
Sure it is just a movie and it isnt too gruesome compared to other movies. But, it is the story of a good kid gone bad which is a great opportunity for open discussion before they see it so you can set things up the way you want.

I'd rather light my hair on fire.

All the previews I've seen don't really measure up to the first 3. If you want the techno special effects I guess these films rule but the dialogue does nothing for me. There doesn't appear to be the same human interaction and occasional comic relief. With established stars in the newer ones, it loses a little more.

Saw it last night and enjoyed it very much. A fitting ending to the saga. As far as acting goes and plot holes; it had no more, nor was any worse than the other 5. Probably the 3rd best of the 6; behind IV and VI. The "ending" of the movie was better than I anticipated considering we all KNOW how it has to end.

I saw it last night as well, and I thought it was really good. There was some comic relief as well, but maybe not too much. The crowd was laughing at times and applaused at the beginning and end.

Strangely enough, some of the previews have very little to do with the movie.
Audio and video in parts of the previews are taken out of context and a few of the scenes shown are the same short segments from the movie, not small portions of a use of the larger scene.

For example, Darth Sidious does not say "Arise" as Darth Vadar is raised up from the operating table. That audio is from another time in the movie when Anakin pledges allegiance to the dark side. Also the flying fire brigade is just scenery in a very short portion of the movie and not as it appeared to me in the previews as an integral part of some large drawn out battle scene.

You went in costume, didn't you ? :)

Ten of us from work scheduled an "offsite meeting" and saw the 1:20pm show yesterday. Great movie and a lot of action. Definitely not a "feel good" movie. The ending evokes the same kind of feeling you may have had after seeing the movie "Seven".

No, I just got the free passes from a radio station booth a couple weeks ago at an AirShow.

I saw it Friday. I enjoyed it. I always wondered how Darth came to be...

Just saw it today. It's much darker and had more mature themes than any of the earlier installments. Hence, it's much harder to explain to the smart little six-year-old girl sitting next to me (who at one point when Anakin brandished his saber against the younglings said with sharp intake of breath: "Oh, he's going to kill the kids").

It's hard to live up to two generations's worth of expectations and a self-destructive rash of prequels, but Lucas managed to pull it off this time without offending this critic's sensibilities. True, the dialogue is still lacking, especially between Anakin and Padme (Does Lucas have problems with intimacy and romance?). In fact, I don't remember one single memorable line that passed between them, unlike the banter between Han and Leia.

Well, gotta cut this review short. Don't wanna deprive Ebert, etc. of their means of living.:D
