Is there any other way to replace the pollen filter without cuting the
plastic bar?
My car have over 50k miles but i did not see any sign that the previous owner to replace this filter!
Thanks a lot. |

I am fairly certain the answer is No. According to the Acura service
manual I own, the plastic is cut and discarded in order to access the filter (and to replace ). |

| I would agree, the plastic has to come out. I would point you towards previous posts, including pictures, but I don't know how yet. A search for pollen filter will bring you to previous post that show how, with pictures to change the filter. Cutting the plastic appears to be the only way. |
