Hi Everyone.
This is my first post... hopefully not my last. I'm thinking of buying the touring model (without nav or dvd) in the billet silver and ebony. The invoice price I found was 35,700. Does that sound right? Using this forum, I realized that I'm more confused than ever. Should I walk out if the dealer doesnt give me invoice price or below? Or is a few hundred above invoice reasonable for this time of year?
Being female, I know it isnt the brightest idea to walk into the dealership not knowing what i'm talking about so I need all the help I can get!
Any help is much appreciated!
Thanks in advance....

Sarah . . . invoice on an MDX Touring is $36,354. So if your quote includes destination, etc., then it is about $650 below invoice, a good price . . .

| Sounds about right. They can give you the invoice price including the accessories you like just negotiate. Good luck ! |

| Invoice!? You're paying less than what I paid for my premium back in 02! |

Sarah,
Which NJ dealership are you planning to go? Did you test drive the MDX yet? It's probably easier to negotiate the price over the phone. |

I'll prob go to the one in Ocean... But Bridgewater and Clinton are not far... I even checked out the one in Paramus, but they dont seem too flexible. Kind of shady... They didnt even tell me about the 0.9% when i asked about special interest promos. I told them that another dealer told me about it and they gave me the run around. Don't think I'll be going back there....
But, I did test drive the car. It feels great!
You think it's better to negotiate over the phone and not at the dealership? |
