okay, after baby the x for nearly two years... sadly she now starts to have little cips here and there. so bought the OEM touch-up paint for AUS $20 from the dealer. and the only thing i would say is, if the chips aren't that serious, don't touch them up!!!!
just did mine today, it looked alright under the garage light, but when i drive out and see it under the sun, man, that thing is not right! especially on black colour, you can instantly sopt where i had the touch-up paint.... luckly i wasn't that long from i painted them. so i removed them with my NAILS:D :D
i also tried cotton stick, but also had no luck....
owell, i might just leave her as it is now, but just be more careful in the future~

I saw an paint shop trick, the end of a paper match worked OK but you can still see the touch up. The paper match seems to limit the amount of paint so it's not quite as likely to put a bunch of paint on the spot you're trying to touch up. Better to use a little than a slot. I think all the touch up paint have the same problem, nothings looks good as new

You may try Langka - www.langka.com

I have not, however, ever used this with Honda/Acura touch-up or on a black vehicle so YMMV.
I have used it on lighter colors (grey metallic, etc.) and it seems to work well... helps to smooth the finish and get rid of the ugly blob.

I do know that Honda paint is slow to dry (sometimes days depending on temp, etc.) so if you try it make sure the drying time is adequate.

Also, the paint is colormatched to the original paint job color. Depending on the age of your vehicle and the care you've taken wit the paint it may not match. I would imagine the sun in .au is pretty strong and does some damage to black paint in particular. Try giving your car a good wash, claybar, wax and polish and then try the touchup again. Give it time to dry and then wax the touched up area. It should look better than what you just saw when you did it.

You can also try a VERY TINY artist brush that has a skinny point. Touch up bottle paint usualy cones with a flat tip brush that makes it hard to just put a small dab of paint in a small chip.
