Is "Fat Boy" but rub by any chance from Satellite Beach Florida? That used to be my all time favorite BBW eatery. I have even been known to skip free meals in the crew quarters to eat there.

Hey Fab,
Do you grill the artichokes? I love artichokes but have never tried grilling them. If you do, and have good preparation instructions, could you please share? I love the giant artichokes we get here in CA. We never had anything like them back east.
Just thinking about his has me thinking of a drive down toward Monterey. Oh well, Laguna Seca races aren't for a couple more months. It'll have to wait. |

I only grilled the "small" ones. I have 2 plants that grew well but didn't produce like last season. Wierd rain I suppose.......I would not attempt the big ones. Just boil them and enjoy with some great california wines ! :1:
