I just bought a 2005 touring with navi black w/ebony
I have had the car back to have the hood buffed out as there was a big scratch that I noticed when I got the car home the first day.
They took care of it, but there are a couple minor fit and finish issues that I have.
The driver door doesn't seem to line up with the back door, and the ceiling console (where the sunroof switch is) has a gap between the upholstery and the plastic.
Am I being a little too anal about this-I feel like a 40K vehicle should be flawless.
Thanks |

I personally don't think you are being "too" anal. But your expectations of "flawless" are highly unrealistic.
If you didn't notice these things upon delivery, they probably aren't that bad. But if you think the flaws can (and should) be corrected, I would wait till your 1st oil change to take it in. |

Q: Why wait? Take your MDX into your dealer and get those "fit and finish" issues resolved...the sooner the better. Even at $40K, the MDX is still a machine. After that, enjoy your new ride.:7: |

| I have that same gap between by the sunroom switch pannel - only on the drivers side - where I see it:mad: but not on the passenger side. Go figure. |

shaneq, you're not being too anal. At 40K those minor things are annoying and you shouldn't wait to get them fixed. Certain things you don't catch when you take delivery of a vehicle because the salesperson was probaly yakkin away while you were trying to check things out. Take it in and talk to your saleperson and the service manager at the same time so you are all on the same page so nothing goes wrong.
Good Luck and come join us on the dark side:
