| I bought a set of Hawk HPS Pads from ebay for $55 shipped and have them installed for $50 at local auto shop. So far I am pleased with the these pads. The stopping power is probably increase by 25% over the original pads. This is more evident when you do a hard brake. One of the complain I had with the original pads was that my car would slip during the hard brake. This does not happen with these pads. I feel safer with these pads on. They do squeal a little in city driving but it is not loud enough to bother me. So far I have not noticed any brake dust yet(300 miles). |

| Any updates? How's' the squeal and brake dust? I'm looking into upgrading my pads soon. |

I have installed HPS pads on my Volvo S60R and I will say they produce far less dust than stock pads.
As for squeal, make sure you follow the brake bedding procedure. Here's a link to it.Bedding in new brake pads |

The squeal sound are gone now(600 mile). As far as break dust goes I really don't know. I have not wash my car for months. The wheels are very dirty. I'll wash my car this weekend and see. |

| I got my brake pads from here . They have a great service. I received my pads within 72 hours and the pads were shipped from Ohio to California. Also note these pads only work on 03 and 04 models. |
