| I'm planning the same trip to Orlando (taking my nephew to Disney) soon but I still have doubts. It seems like I can save money that I rather spend on him but is a long way. |

Ah! Thanks. I hadn't read the other post.
Freddy - the time you'll spend with your nephew and the memories you'll share will be worth far more than you might save doing something else. IMO, every kid should get to Disney at least once before they are 8 years old. |

| i think what Freddy meant is saving money by driving rather than flying, then using the savings to go to more theme parks. |

You and Phins should work at the UN as interpreters! :) |

| crmsnidol: My comments were actually in response to http://www.acuramdx.org/forums/show...9216#post289216 I hit new threat instead of post reply. thanks phins & dj-mdx2 for serving as interpreters that is what I really meant "saving money by driving rather than flying, then using the savings to go to more theme parks." |

You may be referring to the 99$ two-park ticket. It always helps if you have a relative that works at Disney that can let you in. I was just down there last weekend and probably saved $800+ for a family of four coz my brother-in-law kindly let us in and used his discount at the resort hotel plus the food and souvenirs:2: And sadly, no, I cannot give you his number.:D
Oh, and EPCOT, for me has a new meaning: Every Parent Comes Out Tired! |

I felt the same way but I think it partly depends on when you do it. We were there in January. There were hardly any lines. We also stayed on property as my father in law was able to sponsor a very cheap room for us at Shades of Green. If you are military I highly recommend staying there. It's a quick walk to the Poly and onto the monorail.
We may be going back this January for the marathon. |

Just came back from there. The 1 day pass with tax included will be $64 or $65 for just one park, not hopper pass. :o
I will suggest people who plan to return in the future to get the 7 days pass for $199 + tax. This could save tons of money, since the pass never expired, unless you lost it. (and of course, there will be additional charge if you want to go hopper) |

| I plan on keeping my kids "Disney-free". There are about a million other places I'd rather take them. |
