My wife shorted the center console power plug when the belkin plug fell apart and fell inside the socket ('05X).
Of course she lost all radio and Navi. I replaced fuse #9 (15 amp) in the passenger footwell which brought everything back.
I reentered the Navi pin which brought the Navi to life again.
Since then, the last two times we've started the car, we are presented with the Grey screen that says "Wait to acquire GPS signal; don't move car for 10 minutes, keep it running, etc...".
It always finds a signal in a few minutes and then works fine. Did I miss another fuse that provides power when the ignition is turned off?

| Check fuses #13 (7.5A) & #11 (10A) on the passenger side footwell area. My guess is that they are O.K. since the navi boots up and display is fine. You may have damaged the Navi Unit under the passenger seat when the belkin plug shorted the system. :( |

Luckily it only did it twice and never again! Thanks. |
