| I finally devised a simple fix for the seat belt rattling against the hard plastic side panel. I carefully cleaned the area first and applied a wide strip of the soft side of Velcro where the buckle comes in contact. NO MORE RATTLE!! With this success in hand I then applied a strip right on the edge of the steering column just under the ignition. NO MORE KEY CLANKING!! Give it a shot. Works for me. |

I'm on a mission to fix my rattles now. My biggest disappointment in going from my old Sienna to my new MDX is the interior noise. I got spoiled with that whisper quiet Sienna for all these years!
I have a rattle in the drivers door, and also in the RES system. And I also think the Bose system is terrible, so I think I'll kill two birds with one stone and do a custom audio job and at the same time, since it will be torn apart anyway, put down soundproofing materials and see what that buys me. |
