Hello all, I just got me a MDX and its only 240 miles. I started the car and the engne fired up, but there I had 3 indicators lit on. wtm-4 , vsa and the engine indicator on. I was able to reverse the car. But when I put it in drive, it doesn't respond to the push on the accelarator. But it would move steadly at 6-7 miles an hour. yes, very slow.
Have any of you come accross this ?
I took this to the dealer and he said 1 out of 1000 cars has this problem and it is due to fuel throttle malfuntioning. This needs to be replaced. |

Sorry to hear about your incident abel123. Sounds like you had a throttle actuator control module failure located on the throttle body.
Has anyone else had problems with the Electronic Throttle Control System on their 03-05 X's? |

| I've replaced a few throttle bodies on the 01-02 for sticking or problems with the IAC, but so far I haven't had to replace any of the drive by wire throttles. This is wierd for sure. |
