My wife just got Outlook 2003. Is there a way to sync up her folders when she disconnects from the network so she can work offline when she's on a plane ? Can't seem to find anything in the help. I think I've got 2000 and I can just press F10 but that doesn't seem to work with hers.
She does have a Blackberry but does NOT use the desktop manager to sync it so I don't think that would make a difference. She just gets mail directly from the company's server. |

You may setup Outlook 2003 in Cache mode so that if her computer is not connected, all the e-mail will have a cache copy in the local harddrive.
In Outlook 2003, to to Tools, E-Mail accounts, click Next, Click Change, then check the box "Use Cached Exchange Mode".
I assume her company uses Exchange Server. Hope that helps. |

You can also go to: Tools|Send/Receive|Send/Receive Settings|Define Send/Receive Groups|
Pick the email account and hit the edit buttons and then select the folders you want available for off-line use. |
