2005 MDX -
+Power
+Nice Ride

+Exterior Design
+NAvigation (Best in Class)
+Love Voice commands and Bluetooth setup
+backup camera
+resale value
-7speaker soundsystem with anemic subwoofer
-Fake brushed Aluminum on console
-Thats about all that I can think of
So I ended up getting a 2005 MDX after trading in my 2001 MDX. I think the ride of the Touareg is a bit better than the MDX but everything else from Power, Resale, amenities, Design, Quality & Reliability the MDX wins hands down. I even think the ride of the Touareg was even better than the RX330

| I'd have to say based on Consumer Reports Survey results that if you wanted to drive your vehicle more than it is in the shop for warranty service, you should avoid the Touareg. |

VW has a bad rap on reliability. Even the new Bugs have service problems (Consumers Report) |
