Just wondering if anybody knows whether the pads and rotors on a 02 will fit on a 03.
I ordered a set of brembo rotors and aftermarket pads for my parent's 02 but we sold it before having them installed. If the brakes fit an 03 then I can install them in my X.

| Tim could tell you for sure by comparing part numbers -- and if they're not the same, he could probably tell you what the differences are. My bet is on them being the same. |

did u get those brembo rotors off ebay? the one with both slotted and cross drilled?
i think they should be fine with 03 MDX as the only up grade from 02 to 03 was only the two pot caliers at front ....( but dun take it granted!)
please let us all know how's the rotors going as i would also want to replace my rotors with the brembo one... |

| Front brakes are very different between the 01-02 and the 03 and up. Pads, calipers, carriers, and steering knuckles are different. To be honest...I'm not sure of the rotors though. |

I bought the rotors and pads off tirerack. I wouldn't mess around with the cross drilled brembo rotors on ebay. Brembo does not make drilled rotors for the MDX.
If the brakes do not fit, they will be up for sale. I'm going to IM Tim today to get a definitive answer. |

I spoke with Tim today and he told me that the rotors are the same but the pads are different. Thanks Tim.
I'm keeping the rotors but the pads are for sale. They are Akebono ceramic pads. Here is the link to the thread:
