The check engine and VTM light came on at the same time last weekend on my '01/45K. Dealer said that the EGR valve needed to be replaced. Since my "01 has been out of warranty since Nov. 2004 I was looking at out of pocket expenses. However, my service advisor generously offered a "one time" goodwill service to fix the problem.
Thanks to previous posters on this seemingly common occurence. These forums are so helpful and gives us owners some advantage before going in for problems. |
