Hello all, I've read many threads on iPod installs on this forum - but - can't seem to find a solution for a 2004 Touring with both NAV and RES.
My guess (and hope) is that if I might be able to unplug the CD changer cable from the back of the head-unit and then plug in an IceLink (P.I.E. etc) or some other module, that will allow me to use the radio controls to change discs (playlists), tracks etc.
Can anyone point me in the right direction. Thanks very much |

I have a 2004 NAV with RES. The DVD player on the back has analog audio in from the AUX input on the back seat. I wired an RCA to mini plug cable to this AUX input by stripping the RCA plugs and wiring them to the audio inputs here. I routed the cable under the center console and retrieved under center amr rest. I use a Belkin car lighter charger that has amplified audio out and plugged the mini plug to this guy.
Sometime ago, I posted the wiring connections. I am attaching them again. Use the auxiliary jack assembly connections. |
