Can someone point out where the keyless entry reciever module is located? You know the thingy that picks up the keyfob transmitter.
In most GM vehicles its in the driver door, in my Saab Aero its under the drivers seat. Rumor has it the 06 keyfob is intergrated into the key and I want a look-see at where its at in an 05 MDX Touring w/ NAVI. |

| The 'keyless receiver unit' is located just to the right of the glove compartment. The glove compartment must be removed to access it. |

Thanks again,
Now a question.. If someone found another module from any old car and made sure the wires had the same potential,+,- ,pulse duration ect. what would keep us from selecting a module that had:
1) Better range
2) Switchblade intergrated keyfob like Audi/VW
3) Easier/Cheaper to install remote start.
Rumor has it next year will have integrated key/keyfob; hope its not like our Saab key, its huge!
Does this sound silly?
