There appears to be a speaker in the ceiling in the rear of my MDX...what is it for? Unfortunately I did not get an owners manual (anyone got an 03 manual cheap? pdf perhaps?) and cannot look it up. If it matters, I have the RES. Thanks!

| It's a crappy tweeter for the 3rd row. |

Is it just a tweeter? Had new amps and speakers installed and I was surprised to still "hear" this speaker working. Don't know what amp is driving it but it sounds full-range and adds good "fill" from the rear. Anyone know where it is getting signal? |

Acura calls it a "twiddler" sounds like a cheap erotic toy.
The premium Acura/Bose(R) Music System adds a rear-mounted 2.5-inch twiddler speaker to the array described above for a total of eight speakers. Four integrated 25-watt amplifiers drive the mid-range, tweeter, and twiddler units while a separate 100-watt amplifier is provided for the 10-inch sub-woofer.
