| I have gotten a couple of dealers to agree to a 2005 Premium MDX for $32,311. This is $1,500 under invoice price. Is this a good price in NY? |

I too live on Long Island.
When I got my '03 MDX it was at MSRP at Rallye.
Do you mind, where did you get the quotes below invoice? I would like to know for future reference and when my '03 comes off lease.
Many thanks.

Every dealer is quoting below invoice for 2005 MDX's. I think that there is a $1,500 rebate offered to Acura dealers. Most of the quotes that I got were for $500 to $1,000 under invoice. When pushed, some of the dealers were willing to go further.
Today, I ordered a Premium model MDX from Smithtown Acura. I'm closer to Island Acura, but Smithtown Acura offered me a slightly better price, quicker delivery for the color combination we wanted, and were very pleasant to deal with. |

| I went to Acura Manhattan and got a BASE for $32,811 including destination charge. After registration $115, application fee $45, tire fee $12.5 and tax, out of door $36.5K. GOT wheel locks free! Is it a fair deal in NYC? |

Acura Manhattan really jerked me around. First they offered me a price that included everything, then that price didn't included the destination charge, then they couldn't figure out if they had the MDX that I wanted or not. I hope that you had a better experience. |

Yes and should be applicable in any state. Make sure the dealer where you buy it from doesn't tack on hidden charges like dealer prep fee. Among other things, this includes removing the plastic covers and vacuuming the interior. Ask them to put everything in writing so you'll see all the fees and charges. Dispute anything and everything that looks ridiculous. I had the dealer remove the documentation fee b/c i felt that it's something that they should be doing for free. |

| Acura Manhattan, EH is very helpful on every aspect. However, I may have ask too much about the accessories and add-in which I find quite not matching the internet price. if you stick to your price, you should get what you want. I started the BASE price and then added accessories BUT finally without any. On the pickup day, test drive, the paperwork and drive it home within an hour. |

| I e-mailed Acura of Manhattan this week making an offer for an MDX. That guy EH called me EVERY DAY IN A ROW FOR FOUR STRAIGHT DAYS without getting a return phone call despite my original request to conduct all business via e-mail. Very, very uncool. |

I received a quote of $38,898 from Hall Acura in Newport NEws, VA for an '05 Touring MDX with Nav in black/saddle. That's pre-tax and no accessories. I was thinking it was a decent deal until I read some other posts. Also, the other factors quoted for my lease are:
RV $24,105
MF .00245
36 months
15k miles
What does everyone think about that potential deal? |

I just got a quote from them, Touring with nothing else, 961 under invoice BUT there is a 399 processing fee so its really 562 under invoice. This is a straight purchase not a lease. I'm passing. |

| What is the invoice price for an '05 Touring MDX with nav.? I know they have dealer holdbacks and incentives now, so it's a little tricky to figure out what the true invoice price is. |

Invoice is invoice - check either Kelley Blue Book or Edmunds.com.
From invoice deduct the $1500 rebate and negotiate the dealer holdback.
Good Luck!
