Hello everyone ! Like everyone else in this forum I m now a proud owner of an MDX. I got mine last month and so far my family and I are enjoying the ride. It's a 2005 Black MDX w/ NAV/RES.
I just have few questions for all MDX owners.
1. Is there's a way to view what is being shown in the RES screen
be displayed in the Navi screen? Of course when the vehicle is in
the 'park' mode.
2. What does it take to add a tv tuner? How complicated is it?
3. Will tinting the front windows affect performance of the
navigation?
4. Can the headphones in the back listen to a two different source?
One listening to a movie being shown in the monitor and one
listening to cd or radio.
I do appreciate any feedback from you folks.
Thanks in advance. |

1. no way to view any video on nav screen, you can only listen to it by pressing 'dvd'
2. not sure but will have pro do it.will not attempt to diy
3. there was a post on this subject and as i understood, as long as it isn't metallic, it will be fine
4. no, i wish, tried playing with all the controls, the res can only play one thing at a time |

Old thread, but nevertheless...
there is a way to view video output on the NAV screen if you install a NAV converter, as many other members have done. If you're going to install a TV tuner, you would probably need the electrical diagrams. Quality of reception will depend on your locale. |
