Alright, I'm looking for some help! I have over 72k on this 01 MDX, and I have an engine light on, maintenance req'd light on, and my VTM-4 light on. I have already replaced the differential fluid and transmission fluids, adjusted my emergency brake a bit replaced my filters. Looks like the drive belts are gonna be coming out soon too. Can anyone here give me a detail as to what exactly needs to be done. Thanks! Or even better, can you get me someone whom I can order a service manual from? That would also help a bunch too!!

The maintenance light can be reset via the procedure in the owners manual. It lights up every 7500 miles just to let you know that the service interval is up. The VTM-4/engine light combo is commonly the EGR valve. There was recently a warranty extension for the EGR valve.

Alright! I was able to get the MAINT REQ'D light off, and drove around got some gas, then came home, the engine and VTM-4 lights came off. Parked it for a few days, today when I went to pick up my friends, and was on the road only about 30 minutes, the engine light came back on and the VTM-4 came on. I turned the car off it sat for about 20 minutes, and got back in now only then engine light is staying on.
I hooked it up to my AutoScanner and it says everything is ok, but gave me a P1491 code, says Manufacture Control; Auxilary Emissions Control
Anyone know about this?
