| Has anyone seen any type of after-market cover for the DVD player on the 2005 (other than placing a box of Kleenex in from of it)? Don't know if there is a real need, but having it exposed could invite a broken window.:noshiz: |

No self-respecting thief would likely steal the DVD player with literally thousands of others of similar or better capabilities. |

DVD players only cost about $30 now, it would be a ridiculous amount of work and time to remove one from a car.
I've been wondering if I could move mine (2005 TouringNAV/RES) from the dash to some other location so I can have the storage space.
Anyone every tried to move it? |

I am not so much worried about the DVD player itself - too much trouble to remove (and I would like to relocate it to have the additional storage space, too). My thought was that by seeing it, a prospective thief might smash a window looking for a quick rip of a DVD notebook or something. Anyway, I think I'll stick to the box of kleenex.
Anyone tried relocating the DVD in order to take advantage of the storage space? Where would be a good place to install it? My thought is somewhere in the second row seating area - maybe underneath. Any thoughts? |
