I have been over on the Corvette forum for the past several months however I felt it was time to check back in.
First off let me say that I'm fairly happy with my 03 MDX.Some things that I feel just don't measure up though are the following.
Radio.The AM radio reception is terrible,especially if its been raining.Its worse than the radio in my 02 Dodge Caravan.The FM is better but not up to the caliber of this vehicle!!
Front rotors.They warp very easily!Acura has turned them once and I can feel a slight shake after about 2000 miles of them being turned.I'm real cognizant of the problem and have never layed on them hard.The service manager said going thru water when they are hot will cause it to happen.Sounds reasonable but shouldn't happen on this vehicle.I realize the X is heavy but come on its an Acura.
I am some what disappointed with the Navigation system.It attempts to take me out-skirting Pensicola Fl. on the way to Destin,FL from Nashville,TN.I've been thru dangerous parts of cities getting to resturants.I could go on and on,but won't.
Mileage on regular in town has always been around 14MPG.I switched to Mobil 1 at 15,000 miles and the mileage has crept up to a little over 16in town.I'm happy with this as the X like all SUVs is a heavy weight.
All in all its a great ride and I will probably buy another one.I hope Acura addresse these problems and upgrades the interior a little more
