| Hey, I'm new to this forum and was wondering if there have been any great deals in San Diego or Southern California. Looking to get a MDX Touring and trying to get the best price possible. I know there is $1500 marketing incentive. Anything else? Any help would be appreciated. |

| OK, it seems that no one lives in San Diego (hard to believe) or no one got a great deal here. I am also willing to drive to the LA area to get a great deal on a MDX Touring. Anyone???? |

Start by submitting internet requests for quotes from all the local area dealers. |

I will be submitting online requests for quotes next week or so. From this board I have found that people are getting $1500 - $2000 below invoice. I just want to know if anyone has gotten this good of a deal in Southern California, especially San Diego. |

i live in SD too but i bought my MDX in LA. SD sucks in terms of buying a car - the dealers are spoiled by rich guys and none of the dealers I emailed are willing to give out a straight price over email.
I bought my MDX R&N 3 months ago from Van Nuys acura for about $1300 under invoice which is considered very good at that time. Now you should be able to do even better with LA dealers. |

OK, so I took the advise of some of the members and emailed some local dealers in San Diego, Orange, and LA Counties. All I can say is this is the best way to shop@! Right off the bat I got an awesome deal for a MDX Touring at Power Acura of South Bay from Jerry Ede. I was quoted $33,995 (destination included). Invoice with destination is $36,355. That is $2,360 below invoice without even trying!!!! No dealer in San Diego would even make us a counter offer! So we decided to drive to Torrance (1.5 hour).
We totally expected something to go wrong, but everything was straightforward. No pressure to buy any extras or anything. Anyone in San Diego want a MDX, try Jerry Ede at Power Acura of South Bay! Absolutely no problems!!! Thanks for everyone's help! |
