| Just wondering how fast you have driven your X. I have driven mine to about 130 kph only. |

| I just did 105mph in my '02. Could of gone faster but with a roof-rack full of stuff, just didn't feel comfortable. Felt great! |

I15N @ Death Valley Road (H127) Has to be the straightest road in the world.
Downhill, No wind, No smokeys.
I thought there was a cutoff too?????
Guess not when you're rolling down a grade. Felt stable, yet let off for fear of getting stopped. They would've cuffed me on that one. |

| It is actually 130kph. After reading all the horror stories about trannies breaking down, I am not quite comfortable driving it at high speed. |

Seeing that picture, and realizing that someone held a camera in one hand while driving with the other at 130mph in an MDX, reminds me of the old joke:

Vibration!? Hell, I dont remember, or for that matter paying any attention. Maybe coming from my teeth chattering as things were coming up pretty quick. Seriously though, no vibration. The X is solid, but tends to be a floaty at speed. I used to be a bit more daring in it, but now that I'm so used to driving an FX, the MDX just feels like a pig in comparison whenever I get behind the wheel, and the seating position is a bit bus-like. I dont feel confident anymore swinging it around as now I'm used to a more balanced driving experience. MDX is the vehicle of choice though when we take those family excursions when we need cargo room, and I'm not the least embarrased to drive it. She's still a super smooth cruiser.
