Anyone in need of a set of Wheels and Tires from an 04 MDX Touring? I have the original factory wheels and tires (less than 1500 miles). Michelin P235/65/R17 Cross Terrain Radials. Make me an offer!!

| Hey guys...First off thanks to ATLMDX. Very smooth transaction. I appreciate it. I had 59,000 on my Michelin C/T's and could have got another 5000-8000 but had a few holes that were slowly leaking so...I have a question for you guys though. I put the tires and rims om my MDX and went for a spin on the highway and when I hit 65 mph there was alot of shaking in the steering wheel. I guess I have no idea when it comes to balancing. Do they balance a tire individually and therefore it does not matter where the placement is on the vehicle? I noticed there are different weights on the tires. Do I need to match up weights on the fronts? I am puzzled? Any info would be appreciated. |

You need to have balanced. The BEST balancing is an on the car balance. This balances the tire/wheel and running gear at the same time. Most of the time you can get by with an off the car balance but as you can see in your case this is not always true. A dynamic of the vehicle balance with get rid of this.
The negative to this is that you will have to balance every time you rotate tires. First, try having an off vehicle static or dynamic balance and see if this solves your problem.
