Hi everyone!
Yesterday, I broke down and bought an MDX! The deal was just too good to pass up.

2002 MDX Touring Navi (all the bells and whistles), 19K miles, Havasu blue (gorgeous color!) with ebony interior, for $26995.
Im learning the gadgets and reading that mountainous owner's manual to get the hang of things. I plan some upgrades (stereo!) so Ill be a regular here.

Thanks for having me!

Whole point of saying DC Metro was that didnt want to reveal where i live... but what the hack. Im in ss maryland.

We sometimes try to organize a gathering. We discussed meeting around great falls. but we never actually did (or no one told me that we met). Hope this year we have a better luck and get to see your Havasu blue!

Sounds great! Definitely count me in!

Are the Havasu blue MDXs rare or something?

Havasu blue and Granite Green were both only produced for two years so they are more rare then Silver or Black.

Makes sense! I also ran across a thread where someone had to wait 8 months to get a Havasu paint job special ordered?
Methinks I bought a collectors item and didn't even know it!

First, I leased a 05 Honda Accord EX-L in March and just loved it.
Recently traded my 01 Explorer 4X4 for a 05 Aspen White Pearl MDX. Towing a boat on the Explorer was "squirrely" Granted, it's not a Touring model with all of the gadgets, but it's a lot better than the Honda Pilot EX. I also leased the X for $358 including tax. The dealer threw in the Acura Towing Package and the tow rating is better than the Explorer. I can't wait to see if it handles better.

Trust me it does! I came from an Explorer as well. I enjoyed the truck but it was up into the 80K mile range and stuff started breaking. The difference is night and day.
