My recently purchased 02 MDX has wheel locks but apparently I was not given the key! Is it just a "generica Acura item" or are they special?
Thanks! |

They could have been an add on by the original owner at time of purchase like I did on mine. Not sure if the dealer has the code for the puzzle key, but they more than likely came from here:

Good luck and congrtas on the X! |

If you don't intend to keep them....of course then you'll have to find 4 lug nuts.
Craftsman 3 pc. Flip Socket Set with Red Pouch
Sears item #00947392000 Mfr. model #2305LL
3 pc. Lug-Off flip socket set. These 3 sockets cover the 6 most common wheel lugs and lock sizes in the market today, and they are designed to remove damaged lugs and wheel locks when the key is lost or unavailable. Aggressive helical flutes bite harder into the fastener as more pressure is applied. |

Thanks for the info guys!
I dont intend on keeping *these* wheels locks but rather locks of my choice and locks that I have the key for. |

| Sometimes the dealers have a set of master puzzle keys too. |

Dealer should able to help you out. (Fee? or not?)
Normally I don't provide the key when I go in for the annual state inspection. (Part of it, is remove the tire and inspect the brake) And they never ask me for the key. |
