I was wondering if anyone had the schematics or helms for the backup camera. A little bit ago, my camera was going fuzzy when I put the car into reverse. The color was also going. Now it's totally gone. I suspect it's a loose wire/connection.
Can anyone help me out? |

I'm not sure if this is related, but one of the poorly documented features of the backup camera is you can adjust the brightness of the camera (aperture opening) by using the zoom up/down rocker on the dash. If this was all the way up, you might have saturated the CCD and you would have had a very bright, but very distorted (fuzzy) picture. Try it and see if that's what you saw. |

| I tried adjusting the brightness and that was not the problem. |

I think dj meant the "Menu-Map/Guide-Cancel", hold-down all three at the same time for about 2 seconds...
I don't recall seeing an option for backup camera, but don't let my bad memory stop you. |
