Hi! I'm new here at this forum (great info! on this site!).
I will be getting the 2006 MDX once it comes out later this year and I want to have the best entertainment installations possible for this car.
Question 1:
Is it cheaper to buy the Touring/NAV/RES/rear camera from Acura OR
buy the Touring/NAV/rear camera from Acura and then add/install two 7" headrest DVD player/LCD aftermarket OR
buy the Touring only from Acura and then add/install NAV/rear camera and the two 7" headrest DVD player/LCD aftermarket???
Thanks |

If your ultimate goal is to have NAV/Rear camera and RES then do not go with the Touring only. The NAV upgrade with backup camera is a well worth upgrade for the amount you pay. It will be very hard to get a similiar aftermarket system for that price. For the RES, I would have to say it's cheaper to go with aftermarket and you also have a much wider selection of better aftermarket ones.
If you don't want to do anything, just buy the loaded one and enjoy the ride. This mean you don't have to spend time researching for aftermarket product and finding a good installer. |

Anything is possible with $$. There are video switcher that will do what you want to do. Are you going to put a Satellite dish on top of your MDX?
Get the MDX and see if MTV will pimp the ride for you. |

| I merged all your threads you only need to respond to your own topic and not have to make a new one when dealing with the same subject. |

Question 3:
I want to have TV/Satellite TV/Satellit Internet in my MDX.
Is it possible and how do I get the systems to do:
NAV LCD is showing Satellite TV
the first headrest LCD is showing DVD movie
the second headrest LCD is showing local TV
someone is using the Internet with a wireless laptop PC?
Thanks!
If you want to get that complicated, then you should find a good custom installer to discuss the system features and price first. I haven't seen anything like that setup on this forum yet. |

I haven't seen anything like that setup on this forum yet.
I think most of the people on this forum would probably put the money toward Home Theater instead. |

now that your veterans...you don't have to be nice anymore...
I don't need your opinions...I have a brain.
END OF THREAD. |
