Just got my new '05 MDX with Nav/Res. I ran a single cable from the 3rd row AUX input under seats into center console where I have it plugged into my Belkin iPod charger/output thing. Works great for the sound and no assembly required. However, I have my iPod mini sitting in the top part of my center console and would prefer if I could just mount it somewhere visible off side of my console or on the dash.

Anyone found any good either ipod specific or cell-phone type universal mounts that would work well for this purpose?

The mount actually hooks to your vent slats. But I took the back part off and just double sided sticky taped it right next to the center console screen. Works perfectly.

Also search around this site for a bracket sold by PanaVise. I have that and it works very well - bracket mounts just behind the trim around the radio/navi area and sticks out on the right side - you can then mount any kind of cradle in it and it holds the iPod right at operating height.
