| I'm a lil' confused. If you play a DVD, what happens to the Navi screen ? Do you have the ability to toggle back & forth from Navi & DVD ? I understand the backup camera will override everything when in reverse, but does the DVD override the Navi ??? |

Hi
You have a toggle switch to go between NAV and DVD. The nav still works in the background. It still talks to you if you programmed in direction.

| Does it work with the existing dvd player and nav screen or this is for a vehicle that has the nav screen but no dvd player? |

Hi
If you have nav in the car and a DVD player in it already you can use this dvd player. The main thing is that you have Nav

Dominic,
Its quite irresponsible of you to not even throw out the disclaimer that this is illegal in many states. In the case of "justme", California expressly forbids this as per law AB301 (tweaked version)
quote:
The law (AB 301) explicitly bans the use of any visual device, like video monitors or screen or any similar way to visually displaying video.
This bill has recast this prohibition and, additionally, would prohibit any person from driving a motor vehicle if a video monitor, or a video screen, or any other, similar means of visually displaying a video signal that produces entertainment or business applications, is operating and is located in the motor vehicle at any point forward of the back of the driver’s seat, or is operating and visible to the driver while driving the motor vehicle. This prohibition would not apply to specified equipment or to a motor vehicle providing emergency road service or roadside assistance. Because a violation of this prohibition would be a crime, the bill would establish a state-mandated local program.
I don't want to get into the discussion of whether you can keep your eyes on the road while watching the siege of Minas Tirith. More and more states are making this illegal so please check with your state laws before you get in a jam.... |

I'd be intrested. Besides it's only illegal to use WHILE DRIVING!
If I want to watch a movie while I wait to pick someone up, I feel like an idoit crawling into the back seat by myself.
