Well, my MDX lease is up in mid October & my company has made the decision to cut out all car allowances & give us company cars. Besides losing the tax advantages I now have with leasing, I am forced to pick from the following Chrysler cars:
Pacifica (AWD with 2nd row bench seat)
300M
Magnum wagon
Jeep Liberty
Dodge Caravan
All are the bottom of the line (except Pacifica, which is AWD) - this means no leather, memory seats, etc., etc.
I spoke with a Chrysler salesperson & he said he felt the best is the Pacifica - he said the seats were better & it handled better. I too am leaning toward the Pacifica. I like the styling of the 300M - but that's it.
I would like your opinion - what is the best choice here if you were choosing. I have until mid October, so any input is appreciated. Thanks in advance to all. |

Depending on your space needs I would go with the Pacifica also can you pay for upgrades yourself? The discounts are pretty strong right now!

I would go for the AWD Pacifica.
Also I think you mean "300" or 300C, not 300M. I felt the 300 had quite a few blind spots. The Magnum wagon is cool looking too, but the visibility can't be good. (Haven't driven one to verify though)
The Liberty is small, but heavy. It get piss poor gas mileage, and the ride is bouncy. And the Caravan is well....a Caravan. |

Yes - you are correct - it's the 300.
Thank you all for your opinions - I haven't driven the Magnum - but it sure looks like it would have poor visibility. I have about 6 weeks to make a decision - so any more inout is appreciated :4: |

Well so far I still own the MDX. The decision to remove the allowance was pushed back to Jan 2006. Hopefully I will keep driving the MDX:2: If I need to sell it, I will & then take the Pacifica - it's the 'best of the worst' :1:
