I have High Def cable for 2 years now and just love it. It's great on my 51" 16X9 Projection TV.
I also have a 21" LCD in my bedroom, but it does not have the high def cable, just plain digital cable.
My question is....
Has anyone used the off the air High Def antenna? If so, which brand and is it good?
Thanks in advance |

I am able to get loal HDs nicely with an indoor Zenith Silver Sensor. $40 at Sears. If it does not work for you, bring it back for a refund, you need an outdoor antenna. Don't bother with Terk's with or without amps. Not worth it.

What's up with the personal info. I hate doing that and start getting junk mail, emails, and phone calls.
I will give the Zenith a try. I heard that Terk's is a waste. Thanks DaleB |

If you read it, only the zip code is require. Prob to give you a better listing based on your location. |

| Go to antennaweb.org to determine the antenna type you need. Then check out shops like Radio Shack for the appropriate antenna. BTW, your TV has an internal ATSC tuner or you're getting an STB? |

I should have mentioned, there really is no HD antenna. It's simply a TV antenna, and the Silver Sensor is a UHF antenna.
Most Digital Broadcasts are UHF. I think something like 12% are VHF. Antennaweb will find the ones for your area. |

OP:
If I read it correctly, you currently have HD on your 51" RPTV. Why don't you get another HD receiver for the 21" LCD? OTA is cool if you have a STB already but if you are paying to HD already, why not rent another HD box? |
