I am in the market to purchase an MDX Touring w/NAV & RES. I live near Atlanta, GA. I cannot find a dealer that will come close to some of the prices I have seen on this forum.. I have seen numerous postings for Touring w/NAV & RES for $38600 range incl dest charge and doc fees + TTL. Can anyone provide a dealer anywhere close to Atlanta that will come close to $38600??? Thanks

You can't expect to sit back and have a sweet deal handed to you on a silver platter - you gotta do the work. I suggest that you email every Acura dealer within a 75 mile radius of Atlanta stating your model & color preference and see what responses you get. Acura has a factory marketing incentive of $1500 for every new MDX sold until 9/6, but not every dealer will give it ALL back. Once you get the lowest quote, you can start negotiating with your local dealer. Timing is everything, and with the end of the month coming up, the '06s shipping in 4-6 weeks, dealers should be motivated to move out '05 stock. Keep in mind the marketing incentive expires in less than a week, or sooner depending on the dealer's MDX inventory. . . Good Luck.

Thanks for the reply. I have already sent the emails to all of the nearest dealers...None are willing to come close to $38k range..I did however find out that Acura will be offering 2.9 financing starting 8/31/05...

The 2.9% for 60 months starts tomorrow and lasts thru labor day weekend.. Now if I could just find an Atlanta dealer that is willing to sell at decent price...

I just found out thru my dealer that the financing is as follows:
2.9 for 36
3.9 for 48
4.9 for 60
Sorry for the confusion but I was going by what I was told by the dealer..

glockman,

$38680 is the invoice less the $1500 factory-to-dealer incentive, plus add the $570 destination. Considering that it is end of the month and you have less than a week before the $1500 incentive ends, I also suggest to email your local dealers and the then you need to go visit the dealership in order to have a face-to-face negotiation. If you show up personally, it means you are serious about a purchase and they may be willing to negotiate more. Just be aware of their selling tactics beforehand, and BE FIRM with your price, AND let them know that you are aware of the $1500 rebate. Good Luck!:D

The best I can tell this special financing is good only through the Labor Day Weekend....ie ending Monday close of business..

We were able to get 4.74% for 60months through Honda Financing, on our purchase on 8/18/05.

Wow...that makes you scratch your head...

Just to update...The latest price I have gotten for Touring NAV/RES model is $39,300..This price includes the Rear Spoiler, All-Weather Mats, Wheel Locks and Cargo Liner..From just rough calculations I believe that is somewhere in the 1500 below invoice range...

rog,

From the online prices for the accesories you mentioned:

Retail Online Price
All-Season Mats $117 $99
Liner $195 $154
Spoiler $379 $302
Wheel Locks $49 $33

TOTAL $740 $588

Congrats and yes you are in the ballpark with the $1500 incentive. Let us know how things turn out for you and your financing rate.
